In this generation of devices and gadgets, sleep has been lost for overactivity with these gadgets. You realize the value of sleep after losing it a while ago. Below are a few simple ways to get some sleep,

1) Exercise at least for 30 min every day

You must be bored of hearing it. It is very important that the body spend the physical energy, sweat and be active. A sedentary life makes you dull. When you exercise, the body releases endorphins, which in turn reduces stress and helps you relax your body. Work out consistently and earn your good sleep.

2) Turn off gadgets 30 – 40 min prior to sleep

Wrap up all your work 30 to 40 min before sleep time and activate your night mode. Allow your self some time to get into relaxing mode. Dim the lights to get cozy. Sit in a relaxed position and breathe deeply. Perform this yoga for 5 to 10 min to instantly feel calm and peaceful.

3) Keep a journal by your bedside

Regularly make a habit to write the snippets of your day and your general pattern of thoughts. Discover your mood on the paper using these observations. This allows you to see your day as a witness rather than a victim/slave. You will understand the things which you can control and which are beyond your control. Unloading your experience on paper helps you become lighter and frees your mind. Build this habit in your daily routine, You will undoubtedly feel relaxed. You could also read a fun book.

4) Keep your surroundings tidy

A clean room reflects a decluttered mind. A tidy place sets you in an easy mood and your mind has no apparent reason to see something unpleasant and be worried about. Try maintaining a clean space. Light some aroma candles for soothing fragrance in the room. Listen to the silent lullaby of the ambience, which inspires you to sleep well.

5) Finish your dinner at least two hours before sleep

Eat something satisfying for dinner. Medium to light kind of dinners is preferable. Nutritious and tasty food is enjoyable. There is no need to starve yourself in the name of being light. Enjoy a good dinner and end your day without compromise.
